Elias takes part in an outdoor charity event called “Hanki ja sydän” (snow and heart) in Järvenpää on Sunday 3.3.2013 at 10-14. The event in the city’s beach park raises money to support various causes (mental health of local youth and children etc). Several musicians perform, weather permitting, and Elias’s set should be at about 12.30.
Elias begins his gig year in Lovisa, at restaurant Ölvin, where he played a spontaneous gig in October. The local newspaper made a story (in Swedish) on his surprise appearance, which resulted in him being booked for two gigs. So Elias performs at Ölvin on Jan 12th and 26th. In February Elias returns to some venues, where he played in the fall (Turku, Helsinki, Porvoo, Sastamala). Check the gig list for the dates and more info.
Markus continues with his duo gigs with George Rigby at Vltava, ja performs with his band Brand New Classics at least at Rymy-Eetu on Feb 1st and 23rd. More info from the gig list - follow it also for additional gigs.

Elias has become more active as a street musician again. Follow Facebook for tips when he may (if the places are free) be heard at the metro stations of the Central railway station, Kaisaniemi and Sörnäinen in Helsinki. His next official gigs are at Wanha Apoteekki Porvoo 8.12 and Pub Nostalgia Sastamala 15.12.

Elias was interviewed for the radio program Finndietaivas (= Finnish indie heaven). The episode was already aired on Oi fm, but will be repeated a few times (Tue 25.9. at 16, Wed 26.9. at 22, Fri-Sat midnight, Mon 1.10. at 20 and Tue 2.10. at 16). Radio Moreeni will air it later. Both channels can be heard over the internet.
Elias performed three songs live – one of them was “Stranger now” in the video below. A demo version of the track is available on the Hitlantis-page of Elias’s old Gusto-band.
After Elias’s Seinäjoki gig in August, the local newspaper Ilkka published an interview (in Finnish) about what is going on in his life: working on his second album in English, after not being totally happy with his Finnish debut. The internet newspaper Nollapiste discussed Elias’s thoughts on music, nature and life more deeply. A selected quote: “the world is a great gift. Let us also be a gift to the world“.
